In continued support of physicians and medical staff impacted by the Palisades and Eaton fires, the Los Angeles County Medical Association (LACMA) is proud to announce the second Fire Recovery Resource Fair, taking place on Saturday, April 27, 2025, at the Pasadena-Sierra Madre YMCA.
This in-person event will once again bring together experts in debris removal, permitting, home construction, insurance claims, legal and financial guidance, and more—offering essential resources and one-on-one support for those navigating the difficult journey of recovery and rebuilding.
The fair will also feature special physician guests—a highlight of the first Fire Recovery Resource Fair—featuring doctors who have personally experienced the loss of homes and medical practices during previous wildfires, including the devastating 2017 Tubbs Fire. Their powerful stories of resilience, rebuilding, and emotional recovery deeply resonated with attendees at the first event and offered a rare, heartfelt perspective that only fellow physicians can provide. These panelists bring not only practical guidance—covering everything from insurance navigation to contractor selection and mental wellness—but also reassurance, solidarity, and hope. Their presence serves as a vital reminder that recovery is possible and that no physician has to face this journey alone.
