Updated: Status of Health Care Facilities Amid California Wildfires

Closed Facilities:

Kaiser Permanente: 7 facilities closed, including Pasadena, Rosemead, Santa Monica, Canyon County, and Sylmar.

Keck Medicine of USC: 9 clinics closed, including Arcadia, Glendale, La Cañada Flintridge, and Los Angeles.

Providence Health Care System: Some outpatient services, such as doctors’ offices, are closed.


Impacted Facilities with Limited Services:

Adventist Health Glendale: Hospital and emergency department fully operational. However, elective procedures may be rescheduled, and non-essential visitation has been postponed.

UCLA Health: Clinic operations impacted in Calabasas, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, and Pasadena. Unclear how many clinics remain closed.


Reopened Facilities or Operational with Adjustments:

Cedars-Sinai: Most outpatient offices and surgery centers reopened, including Brentwood/West Los Angeles, Los Feliz, Pasadena, and Santa Monica. Non-urgent and non-emergency procedures resuming.

City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center: Main campus in Duarte and all outpatient clinics are open and working to accommodate patients impacted by the fires.


Fully Operational Facilities:

Keck Medicine of USC: All affiliated hospitals remain open.

Adventist Health Glendale: Hospital and emergency department operating as usual.

City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center: Main campus and all outpatient clinics open.
